강의 주제 및 요약 :
Transforming buildings and cities into environmentally sustainable places, with fewer adverse impacts on the natural world is an important topic in Japan. This lecture appeals to architects, engineers, builders, developers and others in the green building and sustainable solutions area. The presentation aims to spur transformation toward zero-energy green buildings and sustainable cities by showing how the world’s greenest buildings actually perform! Based on two years of research, the lecture presents actual performance data for 55 new, large LEED Platinum (or equivalent) green buildings in 18 countries around the world. Data include energy and water use.
“The World’s Greenest Buildings” provides the first opportunity to compare building performance data worldwide from the highest-rated large green buildings of the past 10 years, using actual energy and water operating data from 57 projects in 18 countries. It offers architects, engineers and project developers a new way to understand how high-performance buildings can be designed.
